Hi there!
I'm Amanda McGee, an artist and acrylic painter that is inspired by nostalgic places and things, painting those happy memories to brighten your world! My paintings start with a bright magenta pink underpainting on canvas or panel and comes to life layer by layer through bold brushstrokes in a vibrant color palette. The end result is a captured joyful nostalgic moment that is a reminder of childhood, family or home and meant to make you smile! I also have 30 years of experience designing products and licensing my art for the retail market. You will often see this pattern design influence in the backgrounds of my paintings.
